Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 8XP is a manageable switch equipped with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports. All ports have 24 or 48V PoE output (which is selectable in software) to power other devices. Voltage is specified at 4, 5+/7, 8-pairs, i.e. as for standard power supplies with passive PoE. The product offers Layer2 management, supports features such as monitoring port, VLAN configuration, STP and RSTP. On a given port, you can disable access to documents if necessary. The maximum output power is 11.5 W per port with 24 V power supply and 23 W per port with 48 V power supply. Management is done via an intuitive web interface.
